The Indiana Empowerment Challenge
Notes to the People from Onecandream.
October 24, 2008 - an update

Just a quick note to let you know we are still here.  Life has been hectic, but hanging in there.

There has been quite a lot of behind the scenes work done on onecandream.  I appreciate your patience.

In the meantime, a few (not all) of the highlights of what has been going on with the Indiana SILC.

In August, I was denied my requested ADA accommodation  of electronic documents in advance of the meeting again.  Then, when I requested a document that the council was discussing, at a public meeting, the council called the police.

Because I requesting documents be sent to me in electronic format in advance of the meeting, that the council speak clearly into microphones, and for requesting a copy of the consultant contract they have with Terry Brigance for about a quarter million dollars (I did not know at the time this was the document I was requesting) I was escorted out of the room by five police officers.

I left willingly, and while I was leaving of my own free will, people were taking my picture most likely to use as a tool to slander me with.

Quite a bit more has happened, in fact things have only gone down hill from there.  I will update more later, but in the meantime you may want to visit the ICOIL Video Archive and watch the beginning part of day 1 of ICOIL's August 2008 two day training open to the public
